Surfer and Mother of 2 Captures the Essence Of The Islands

Kim Hansen, founder and creator of Lei Lana dreamed of creating a fragrance that would fully embody the essence and spirit of her favorite Hawaiian flowers.  
 
An avid surfer since the age of 11, Kim grew up surfing in Malibu and Hawaii where ocean, sand and flowers were part of her daily rituals.
 
Already experienced in the fragrance business Kim decided that she wanted to fully capture a scent that would evoke the feelings that she had experienced from her travels to Hawaii. Kim’s passion for flowers and her love for creating helped her realize this dream.  With the assistance of a formulator Kim was able to combine her previous experience with both fragrance and nature to blend the spirit of Lei Lana. The Lei Lana scent combines a bouquet of essential flowers including one of Kim’s favorites, the Pikake (Hawaiian Jasmine).  Women that wear Lei Lana are stopped frequently by both men and women to inquire about the intoxicating aroma of Lei Lana.

Based in Southern California, Lei Lana is owned by Kim Hansen a dedicated mom of twins. The name Lei Lana was borrowed from Kim’s daughter Lola’s middle name as an expression of Kim’s first love, which are her children.
